1987
Korea-Bhutan diplomatic relations
The formal diplomatic relationship between the Republic of Korea and the Kingdom of Bhutan began.
2017
KBFA's operating foundation
KBFA began developing regular civic and cultural exchange programs between Korea and Bhutan.
2024
ESG forum and cultural exchange
Programs connecting sustainable tourism, culture, and institutional cooperation expanded.
2025
The second Bhutan Cultural Day
The program widened public contact points for Bhutanese culture, tourism, and citizen participation in Korea.

The second ESG forum
The second Bhutan International ESG Alliance Forum was held at the Royal University of Bhutan.

40th anniversary horizon
